This will take place in the Roma neighbourhood in Botevgrad in regards to the International day of the Roma people.
To Mr. Georgi Parvanov - President of Republic Bulgaria
Dear Mr. President,
I would like you to accept my visit, so that I can discuss with you the ideas and proposals of the Headquater of EUROROMA in regards to the more and more compliacting demografic situation in Bulgaria and the possible subsequences from it.
In regards to the invitation of the Minister of the Ministry of Labour and Dole Mrs. Emilia Maslarova, the Chairman Mr. Tsvetelin Kanchev and part of the political headquarter of the party on 11th January 2008, 11:30h a meeting will take place in the Ministry of Labour and Dole, on which the representatives of EUROROMA hope that they will be acqainted in details with the alternatives that Mrs. Emilia Maslarova and her Ministry are offering - the alternatives of the seized dole for those people that have taken dole for 18 months.
D E C L A R A T I O N
Regarding the article published in "168 hours" newspaper (4th - 10th January 2008) named "Romas go on strike" that reveals some negative sentiments among the Roma community for the dole that has been seized from the 1st January 2008, the Headquaters of EUROROMA states the following:
1. We also do not agree the bigger part of the members and sympathizers of EUROROMA to live and count only on the profession "needy".
2. We want and work in the direection of making the representatives of the Roma community eduacted and conscientious tax-payers with respected professions instead of consumers.
3. We are disturbed form the fact that we are not infomred in details for the alternatives that Minister Emilia Maslarova and her Ministry are offering and we hope that this will change.
4. We declare that EUROROMA will continue on the political path, standing behind our basic instuments: Dilaogue, Tollerance and Cooperation.
The Headquaters of EUROROMA understands the inability fo some separate chairmans of family Roma patries to gain the trust of the Roma voters during the regional elections. We think that those people's attempts to compensate their own electional failures through workless statements in the media is insulting the whole Roma community and the risk of hearing the following appears:
"Look now, Gypsy is saying something again beiong uprepared."
Today, on 5th August 2007, Political Movement EUROROMA was registered in the Central Commitee for Elecions for the local elections in October.
On 21th August 2007, at 11h, in Sofia Municipality the meeting between the Chairman of EUROROMA Tsvetelin Kanchev and the Mayor of Sofia Boiko Borisov will take place. The subject of the meeting is the hiring of Roma people as bodyguards in the municipal guarding company "Egida". Mr. Tsvetelin Kanchev came up with the suggestion on 15th August after the tension that occured in regards to the fight in the Roma naighbourhood "Krasna Poliana". Mr. Tsvetelin Kanchev brough up the arguments that if Roma people are hired, they will take care of the social peace and security in the neighbourhoods "Krasna Poliana" and "Fakulteta" since they are already successfully fighting with the drug dealers in those districts and that will surely help Romas and Bulgarians to live together and cooperate without conflicts.
On 20th August 2007 the Chairman of EUROROMA Mr. Tsvetelin Kanchev sent the followng message:
To the Preisdent of Bulgaria Mr. Georgy Parvanov To the Chairman of the Sobranje Mr. Georgy Pirinski To the Prime Minister of Bulgaria Mr. Sergey Stanishev To the Public Prosecutor of Bulgaria Mr. Boris Velchev and a copy to the Council of Electronic Media
I am allowing myself to face you gentlemen with the hope that from the height of your position and according to the rights given to you by law and ask you to take the necessary measures, so that the constitutional rights and freedoms in Bulgaria are not going to be violated in the following drastic case:
On 16th August 2007, in the evening, in the "Discussion studio" show on SCAT TV during a phone conversation with a viewer threats for mine physical abuse and even death have been made. The speaker not only did not judge those appeals, but was also making some encouraging comments and gestures.
This case would not have caused such a reaction form my side if it weren't for the dramatic events for the whole Bulgarian society from the passed days, which eventual escalation can become a tragedy for our society. Apparently those personlities and organizations that stand only on the ground of conflict have been seriously bothered by my attempts as a leader of EUROROMA to prevent the escalation of tension and the threatening of the citizen social peace in Bulgaria. Those are the ones that are causing all the tension so that they can receive an excuse for their presence on the political scene. They are parisiting on the social weaknesses and misfortunes of the different social layers of the Bulgarian society by replacing the social element with the ethnical argument of dissatisfaction and aiming to retrieve privileges for themselves and their nearest partner organizations.
I am not scared by the appeal: "Death of Tsvetelin Kanchev". If my life is needed for the social prosperity of my fatherland I will gladly give it away. The danger is elsewhere - the appeals of reaching political aims through death of the opponent doubt the achievements of the legal government and the democracy in Bulgaria and this happens in the time when it is trying to prove its place among the countries of the United Europe.
And I will not reconcile with such attempts of shaiming the name of Bulgaria from any sort of political circles and structures.
That is the reason why I demand an investigation to be made in regards to the above facts and the law to be put in practice with all of its severity.
On 15th August 2007, 17 h, the Chairman of EUROROMA Tsvetelin Kanchev will give an an extraordinary pressconference in the centre of "Fakulteta" neighbourhood. The subject will be: "Economical and not political is the reason that stands behind the attacks of the skinheads in the "Krasna Poliana" neighbourhood.
On 15th August 2007, 17 h, the Chairman of EUROROMA Tsvetelin Kanchev and the Main Secretary of the party Rosen Peshev will visit the Roma neighbourhood "Vietnam Hostels". The purpose of the visit is calming down the situation in the neighbourhood and preventing new incidents.
On 14th August 2007, at 16 h, the Chairman of EUROROMA Tsvetelin Kanchev will visit the Roma neighbourhood "Vietnam Hostels" with the purpose of calming down the situation that occurred after last night incident and the arosen tension.
Having in mind the joining personality of Tsonko Tsonev and all that was done by him throughout his current manadate as a mayor of Kavarna Poltitical Movement EUROROMA is standing for his candidature and will support him with its municipal and national structure on the mayor elections on 28th October.
On the 19 July 2007, on a regular meeting The Political Council of EUROROMA decided that on the fore-coming local elections it will be presented by it's own electoral lists for municipal counsellors in all municipoalities in Bulgaria. And regarding the candidates of EUROROMA for municipal mayors we decided to put in practice a flexible majority policy.
Today, 16th May, the pre-election meeting of EUROROMA took place in Lovech. On the meeting present were the regional municipal executive bodies of EUROROMA, members and sympathizers.
All present people admired the program of the candidate of EUROROMA for European people's representative, Milena Hristova.
The regioal chairman of EUROROMA in Lovech Mr. Boris Tomov with great dignity informed Mr. Tsvetelin Kanchev that among the members of the regional youth organisation of EUROROMA there are a lot of Roma young people who are studying law, economics. medicine, which sencerely delighted the whole pre-electoral tream. And it declared that this number will certainly grow bigger, since EUROROMA has the ability to pay the semestrial fees of all Roma students - members of the National Youth Organization of the party. Mr. Tsvetelin Kanchev congratulated the whole regional executive body of EUROROMA - Lovech for the fact, that on the last parliamentary election it is in the list of the excellent ones according to the results of the election.
The problem of Roma people in Lovech region are among the most commonly seen ones - necessity of legalizing the Roma houses and neighbourhoods, poorness, bad infrastructure, problems with water-supply.
"I know your problems, because recently I had the same. That is why I know what you need. " - said Milena Hristova.
On 3rd May Milena Hristova took part in the round-table talk about "The Role of Women in the Europarliament and in the Political Life as a Whole".
The organiser of the event was the National Democratic Institute.
Apart from the candidate of EUROROMA Milena Hristova, among the candidates in voting-paper 14, Adelina Balkandgiiska also took part in the conversation. She is the Chief Secretary of the Governmental Agency for protecting the rights of children, and she was representing the women from MRF.
Milena Hristova took part in the dicussed subject saying:
„The participation of women is impotant not only in the Europarliament but in politics as a whole, because they are the ones that are protecting the European values, like protecting the peace, fighting with discrimination in all its forms and let us not forget that there is sexual discrimination, in the best possible way. Our voting-paper is the most tolerant one considering gender and religion. On the first 6 places two are men and four are women and I am one of them. When our voting-paper was made it wasn't taken in consideration what's the gender of the candidate but only what are his personal qualities, professional realisation and achievements and potencial for future development.
I am convinced that the attitude of others towards a woman depends on her".
On 3rd May the pre-electional meeting took place in Krimikovtsi, Butonets and Buhovo, the chairman of EUROROMA Mr. Tsvetelin Kanchev and the candidate of EUROROMA for European people's representative Milena Hristova listened to the active members of EUROROMA in those cities speaking about their problems and eorries that their homes will be torn down because Kremikovtsi, where they live, is turning into the industrial region of Sofia. Four blocks in Kremikovtsi, where Roma peole live, are with plugged up water-mains more than 3 years now and flod foundations, that are no longer capable of holding the preassure and due to this their inhabitants are in a constant danger. A common view are blocks with flod basements and foundations in Butonets and Buhovo neighbourhoods. Milena Hristova assures that part of her program are the housing problems of the Roma population.
The first form the pre-electional meetings that took place on the 3th May was bwteew the Chairman fo EUROROMA Mr. Tsvetelin Kanchev, the candidate of EUROROMA for European people's representative Milena Hristova, the Chairman of the Youth Organisation Mrs. Emilia Kovacheva and the members and Sympathizers of the party in Malashevtsi neighbourhood in the capital.
Among the citizens in Malashevtsi, beside the need of legalising the Roma houses and the building of new homes for the homeless and needy families, there is also the need for putting separate electrical measurers in every household. Elemantary things are missing in that neighbourhood, for exanple there are no street lights, the streets don't have asfalth, and after the main bridge that was connecting the neighbourhood with the main way to the capital even the traffic is laboured.
Milena Hristova was very warmly greeted by the Roma people in the neighbourhood and they were astonished by her excellent education and her professional achievements. After she carefully listened to all of the present people and their problems Milena Hristova promised that as a European people's representatiove protecting the rights of Roma she will be working for the solving of those problems.

Many of them suffer astma nad cancer. Most of the Roma people live in Vietnam Hostels for over 9 years. There is also the possibility of them fallin down. There is a regime of water, together with the leaks. There is no water-main and the streets are in a very bad condition.
The Roma people living in the area are systematically being abused and beaten by the so called skinheads. It is visible that the need of biulding new houses for the residents in the miserable and dangerous Vietnam Hostels is more than obligatory. The main part of Milena Hristova's program states that when she enters the Europarliament she will present a motion for the legalizing of Roma houses, neighbourhoods won't be torn down and new homes for the homeless and needy peoplewill be built;
In the end of the meeting the present people declared their complete readiness for a successful and resultative presentation on the fore-coming elections because without represantatives in the Europarliament and all the other levels of authority the problems of Roma people won't be solved any sooner and they will be only multiplying.

Mr. kanchev personally introduced Milena Hristova, whose personality was warmly greeted by all present people.
The program according to which she will work as a European people's representative protecting the rights of Roma people is very strictly connected with the problems and need of Roma people, who even here in Fakulteta neighbourhood conser the lega;izing of Roma houses, the illegally put on a 13-metre height electrical measurers and the lack of water-mines. On some places in Fakulteta there is even no water, which compels many families to wonder daily from where to get water for they needs.

Concerning the irresponsible statement of Minister Emilia Maslarova "...stop to incubator-mothers and cuckoos", in which she's referring to the birth-rate among Roma people, the Executive Body of EUROROMA is qualifying the statement as open discrimination and ethnical intolerance. We think that with this act of pre-electoral dividents it will be no wonder if the tradionally good relations between BSP and EUROROMA are a question at issue.
It's a fact, that molst of the financial support for the governmental alimony is going for senial homes. And it's also a fact, that there are NO gypsy people in homesfor old people. We would like to place a question in front of Minister Maslarova: "What measures will you take against the irresponsable sons and daughters, who are leaving their mothers and fathers in homes for old people.
